Originally built: 1978
2,400 Sq. Ft.
This Tswwassen home was originally designed in 1978 and underwent a significant renovation in 2003 with the help of the AGA team. The main component of the renovation was the addition of a second floor, to accommodate the new master bedroom suite. Other aspects of the renovation included: the family room, dining area, the kitchen, a new home office, the detachment of the garage from the house, the addition of storage space and the additional / improved accommodations for house guests.
While maximizing the use of space for both the indoor and outdoor environments, AGA was able to retain the existing contemporary west coast design using natural elements complementing the garden setting of the house. Working with an architecture firm, integration between the interior and exterior spaces was created with the addition of a two storey picture window viewing in to the new courtyard and garden, increasing natural light in to the home. AGA was responsible for hiring all the interior sub trades relating to the finishes and millwork design. AGA also tendered a complete furniture package for the project.
