139 Unit Facility
Portland Hotel Society is a non-profit society established in 1993, providing advocacy, housing, services, and opportunities for the marginalized citizens of Vancouver. This particular facility is catered towards citizens of the downtown eastside, with 139 units of permanent supportive housing and transitional housing units. The majority of the residents suffer from a variety of complex situations; such as homelessness, physical abuse or former incarceration.
AGA specified and tendered the furniture package for this project. The furniture was selected to meet the specific needs of its residents with an emphasis on strength and durability. It was imperative to the Society and its residents that the facility was a pleasant, upbeat space reflective of its supportive community environment.
